A reality TV star is heading to Leicestershire stately home Belvoir Castle next month to turn on its Christmas lights.
Georgia Toffolo – aka ‘Toff’ – will switch on the lights at The Engine Yard retail village as part of a festive event in support of Leicestershire charity Hope Against Cancer.
Toff is best known for appearing on E4 reality television series Made In Chelsea and for winning the 17th series of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2017, where she shared a camp with Rebekah Vardy.
Along with I’m a Celebrity buddy Stanley Johnson, she is currently appearing in Channel 4 show Celebrity Hunted, in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
The switch-on event at Belvoir Castle will take place on Wednesday, November 20, from 5pm until 8pm.
Toff will turn on the lights at 6.30pm.
November 20 will also be the first day of The Engine Yard’s Christmas markets and Santa’s Grotto.
The Fuel Tank will be serving seasonal food including mince pies and gluwein from its outside kitchen, together with hot dogs and beef burgers.
The Balloon Bar will be mixing up an extensive list of cocktails and serving tapas dishes.
Visitors will be able to listen to Christmas carols played by a brass band, and youngsters will have fun spotting Santa’s elves in the shop windows.
There will also be a raffle in aid of Hope Against Cancer – one of the Duchess’s chosen charities for 2020.
Admission to the event and parking will be free.
